Very disappointed in this place. The jacuzzi was broken, the barbecue was broken and the house was filled with spiders! I killed 15 spiders while we were there for two days!! Good thing I wasn't afraid of spiders, but my family was. I was not thrilled that they were in my suitcases, crawling across my feet, the bathroom, above my head in my bed and beside my bed. The positive side was the owners are just as sweet as can be! They rigged another barbecue so we could use it, which was very kind. It is less than 4 minutes from town walking, but overall I'd never stay there again, because of the condition of the place and I just could not deal with the spiders and I'm not exaggerating. I feel bad writing this, but I need to be honest. I did tell the owners about the spiders and they did Apologize, but took no money off of our stay. They said that they were going to spray for spiders. I certainly hope so for the next guest.
Very nice, clean and comfy little place. A little traffic noise but not bad. Nice walk to town. Magda and Bill are very friendly. I will definitely recommended.
Loved everything about our stay here. The rooms small, but fully equipped with a fire heater and any other necessity you can think of. A night goes for about $100 during weekdays, which is excellent value, especially with its very close proximity to the main Julian street (3 minute walk).

Oak Hill Inn is a cozy inn operated by a married couple who live on site Our room was next to the small pool and patio area. It was pretty basic with a double bed, bathroom with shower, table with two chairs, small refrigerator, coffee maker and tv with cable. It also had window a/c unit and electric stove style heater. There was a microwave available in the common room. The Inn is located about a five minute walk from Main Street in a very peaceful area with nice views of local flora and turkeys and horses in neighboring fields. Ther is no front desk. We knocked at the front door and the owner came out and showed us to our room. All in all, a very peaceful and enjoyable stay.
