Great place to get away. Fish are great. Family friendly kids loved it.
Beautiful place to take a vacation, but there was absolutely no fish in the water. Found out that there are specific dates when to fish because they add fish to the lake. Overall, had a great time with my family.
Beautiful settings. Camping is near the road, so it can be noisy at times. Showers are .25 for 2 minutes. Not the best, could use some tic. But the beauty of the area, more than compensates for the short comings.
As a leisure time motorcyclist I set Chambers Park in my GPS and use this area as an anchor to a nice day of riding on two wheels. There are nice bathroom facilities there to make it a good turn around point back to San Diego. Also, the park itself as benches and view points for a place to refresh and reflect before returning to the ride.
