Great campground for relaxing, family downtime, hiking, and smores.
Whether to camp or just hang out for the day, it's a wonderful place to be spend time. It's clean, maintained, beautiful and has a great atmosphere. People are friendly, you see deer grazing and playing, little bunnies and other fun wildlife. Can't wait to go back.
We absolutely LOVE this beautiful hidden gem! It's always a relaxing trip when we stay here. Julian is just around the bend so we don't even need to bring food, just hop into town for some fun food!
This is a very clean, well organized campground. It's HUGE, with lots to do and plenty of trails to explore. Just leave your firewood at home because you can only burn what you buy here. Also quiet hours start at 10pm and they are strictly enforced. If your fire is still burning at 11pm, you will be awakened to extinguish it. If you're clean, quiet, and don't make a fuss, you'll love this campground! The place is crazy busy from February to Thanksgiving Day. Make reservations on the website.
One of the better parks in any system, state, fed or county. Very clean restrooms, pavement in excellent condition, tent, cabins and rv. spaces. Something for everyone at a good cost point. Wild turkeys, woodpeckers. deer and rabbits abound.
